Violet E. (Emanuele) Byrne

Byrne, Violet E., 93, Windber died Apr. 6, 2016 at Windber Medical Center.  Born Nov. 1, 1922 in Windber daughter of the late Nick and Maria (DiDonato) Emanuele.  Also preceded in death by husband Robert J. Byrne, brother Alfred Emanuele, sister Josephine Alderman, and aunt Theresa Bucci.

Survived by daughter Jane, wife of Jerry Botteicher, Johnstown, and son James, married to the former Paula Toki, Windber.

Loving grandmother to Bill Stiffler, and wife Jennifer Hoffman, Miranda Mackel, & fiance Chris Moschgat, Alliegene & Mollie Jane Byrne.  Loving great grandmother to Jacob, Caleb & Evan Mackel, Savannah & Sidney Stiffler, and Haleigh & Paityn Byrne.

Aunt to Patricia Valencis, & Mary Jo and Charles Alderman.

Violet was a loving mother, grandmother, and great grandmother.  She was a wonderful baker and cook who loved to shop and tend her flowers.  Retiree of former Tru-Form, Windber.  Lifetime member of St. Anthony of Padua Catholic Church, Windber where funeral Mass will be celebrated at 1:00 p.m. Saturday.  Fr. Anthony Petracca, assistant pastor, officiating.  Comittal parish cemetery.  The family will receive friends from 5 to 8 p.m.Friday at Meek & Dalla Valle Funeral Home, Inc., Windber where vigil for the deceased will be held.  Donations may be made to Windber Vol. Fire Co. in Violet's memory.
