Mr Wiss was the best teacher I ever had at Richland! He taught not only World Cultures, he taught me many life lessons! I was visiting the high school when my own daughters attended, and ran into him in the hall and he remembered me after all those years had passed! He truly was an amazing teacher and person! May the Lord grant you peace and comfort during this time of loss.

I'm so sad to hear of Don's passing. I know the loss will be felt by the family and all who knew him. I have many fond memories of Don over the years, going fishing, breakfast together at the ocean and more. He was a good man who I always respected.

Wiss was a fantastic coach and mentor; he was respected for his integrity and love of the game. No matter the score or the outcome of the game, he was always supportive through thick and thin. I'm sorry to hear of his passing and my condolences to his family during this difficult time. Rest in peace, Wiss.
