David T. Sendek, Sr.

Sendek, David T., Sr., 55, Windber.  Passed away peacefully at home on Sept. 21, 2015.  Born Sept. 30, 1959 in Windber.  Son of Edward J. and Helen M. (Kolson) Sendek.  Preceded in death by parents and niece Melissa Kostick.

Survived by loving wife of 34 years the former Diana Smith and these children David Thomas Sendek, Jr. married to the former Stephanie Burkett, Summerhill;  Crystal, wife of Jared Roxby, Windber, and Brian E. Sendek and Brooke Snyder, Windber.  Grandchildren Logan, Vera, Leon Roxby, Wesley Frank, David T. Sendek, III, and Isabella Sendek.

Siblings Michael Sendek, and wife Linda, Pittsburgh, Edward Sendek, Jr., and Leslie, McConnellsburg, PA, Mary Ann, wife of William Crooks, Fayetteville, PA, James Sendek, NC, Joyce, wife James Buzzanell, Pittsbugh, and Susan, wife of Steve Newcomer, GA.  Numerous nieces and nephews.  Enjoyed hunting, fishing, and camping.  Employed by Robindale Energy Services, Armagh.  David also enjoyed spending time with his family, friends, and his dog Chelsea.  The family will receive friends from 2-9 p.m. Thursday at Meek & Dalla Valle Funeral Home Inc., Windber, where funeral will be held at 11:00 a.m. Friday.  Pastor Andrew Taylor, officiating.  In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to Windber Hospice, 600 Somerset Ave., Windber, PA 15963 in memory of David. www.meekfuneralhome.com
