Sipko, William Mark "Bill", 65, Windber, passed away January 15, 2022 surrounded by his loving family at Grand Strand Medical Center, Myrtle Beach, South Carolina. Born December 4, 1956 in Johnstown. Preceded in death by father, Robert Sipko. Survived by loving wife, Tina Marie (Bidner) Sipko, Windber; mother, Jeanette (Marko) Sipko, Ft. Myers, Florida; son, William Sipko married to Rebecca, Windber; daughter, Jaclyn married to Brandon Stevanus, Davidsville; grandchildren, Griffen Stevanus; Rory and Rhett Sipko; brother, Robert Sipko and companion Susie Macdonald, Ft. Myers, Florida; sister, Diane married to John Weaver, Millbrook, New York; also by numerous nieces, nephews, many dear friends and his dog, Bentley. Bill was a devout Catholic, life member of St. Benedict Catholic Church, Geistown. His memberships include Windber Moose, Antique Automobile Club of America, Silver Arrow Club Saratoga Auto Museum, Classic Car Club of America, the Muntz Club and the Packard Club. Bill was a very successful businessman in the area. His company, BCL Manufacturing Inc., was started in 1994 with just a few employees. Today the company employs over 40 people, and is thriving more than it ever has. He was very proud of his company, and all who supported his small business dreams. He cherished the people who helped guide him in the business world, and valued their opinions and experiences. One of Bill's passions in life was to collect, restore, and show his classic car collection all over the USA. He has won many awards, and thoroughly enjoyed his time spent at his garage on a Saturday morning, his classic music turned up, and his hands busy restoring the cars he loved, and knew so much about. He and his wife loved to travel all over the world, and were never in one place long. They enjoyed seeing new places, making new friends, and they were always looking forward to their next adventure. As long as they were together, life was good. However, no matter how many beautiful places they saw, or how many new experiences they had, their favorite place to be was on the back porch. The porch was a place for them to unwind, discuss life's happenings, and to listen to music. He'd often have a glass of Galliker Iced Tea in one hand, and his iPad in the other, researching his next trip to take, or car that he wanted to restore. Windber held a special place in his heart. He loved the small town feel, the community and the friendships he made, whether new or from many years ago. He always loved getting together with his family at Rizzo's Italian Restaurant. He ate at many restaurants in his life, but said that none ever compared with Rizzo's. He was eager to help the school district as well, and gave numerous scholarships and donations to help the students of Windber Area School District succeed. He wanted to see young people get passionate about their vocations, especially in the area of welding and fabrication. He wanted young people to know that a trade school education is just as important as a college education. He recently was appointed in September of 2021 to the Pennsylvania Highlands Community College Board of Director’s. Above anything else he loved his family. He cherished his children and grandchildren. He loved the holidays, and the time they could spend together. He was so giving of his love and time to those he held close to his heart. Family was everything to him. He had many plans for his family to travel, and to see this beautiful world together. His legacy and memory will live on in us all, because he was one of a kind. He was a man to be respected and admired. He was our husband, father, grandfather, employer, and friend. He truly made this world a better place. Family will receive friends from 2:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. Friday, January 21st at Meek & Dalla Valle Funeral Home, Windber, where vigil service will be held in the evening. Funeral mass will be celebrated 10:00 a.m. Saturday, January 22nd. at St. Benedict Catholic Church, Geistown, Fr. David S. Peles. Committal Berkey Cemetery, Windber. Memorial contributions may be directed to Windber Area School District Scholarship Fund, Pennsylvania Highlands Community College to aid in the future of our area and the Humane Society of Cambria County in his memory. www.meekfuneralhome.com.
