Chapman, Virginia A., 88, Windber, passed away May 31, 2020 at Windber Woods. Born July 6, 1931 in Cairnbrook, daughter of the late John and Bertha (Burkholder) Leipchack. Preceded in death by husband, Carl Chapman; and daughter, Carol Lapinsky. Survived by loving children, Gail Stotler; and Robert Lapinsky married to Martha (Horner); grandchildren, Charles Stotler; Dr. Brie Stotler married to Dr. Jamie Kane; Bobbi Jo married to Alan Thomas; Trina Lapinsky and Gabria married to Don Fresch; great grandchildren, Aidan Thomas; Brenna Thomas and Chyanne Fresch; siblings, John Leipchack married to Shirley; Evelyn Coleman married to Robert; and Larry Leipchack married to Bonnie. Virginia was a graduate of the former Adams Township High School and worked for many years as a Nurse's Aide for Windber Hospital. She was a member of Windber Church of the Brethren. Virginia enjoyed fishing and camping. She also enjoyed visiting friends at the Windber Senior Center. Private funeral will be held for her family. Arrangements entrusted to Meek & Dalla Valle Funeral Home, Windber.
