Sharon Lynn Wilson (Flori), age 59, lost her long-term battle with Multiple Sclerosis on the morning of Friday, July 10, 2020 in Mt. Holly, New Jersey.
Sharon was born on September 10, 1960 in Johnstown, PA, the oldest daughter of Louis T. and Marjorie J. Flori. She grew up in Windber, PA, was a 1978 graduate of Windber Area High School, and graduated from Indiana University of Pennsylvania and University of Pittsburgh Business School with a Master’s Degree. She initially lived in Pittsburgh, PA as an adult, before settling in the New Jersey/Philadelphia area where she worked in banking throughout her career.
Sharon is preceded in death by her late husbands, Roland Priest and Butch Wilson. She is survived by her longtime partner, caregiver, and guardian angel Jeff Riddle, her parents, and her sister Susan A Bunce-Gillooly (Wexford PA) and brothers Aloysius M. Flori (Clermont FL) and Louis E. Flori (Waukee IA) and their families, including many nieces and nephews.
Sharon was a strong-willed and independent woman, who battled MS for nearly 20 years with grace and tenacity. She had a flair for the good things in life and was always more than generous to those close to her. She loved beach vacations with extended family, boating with Butch, and watching baseball and her beloved Phillies with Jeff, who kept her spirits high, cared for her day and night, and made herculean efforts to ensure she stayed close with her family.
A private celebration of life will be scheduled at a later date. Donations can be made to the National Multiple Sclerosis Society. Arrangements by Meek & Dalla Valle Funeral Home, Windber.
