Rose Lucas

Lucas, Rose, 93, Windber, passed away August 29, 2022 at Windber Woods. Born April 18, 1929 in Ashtola, PA, daughter of the late William and Nancy (Harconich) Hook. Preceded in death by loving husband, John C. Lucas; brothers, Metro, George, Harry and Michael; sisters, Ann, Marie, Mary and Josephine; also by brother in law, Edward Washko. Survived by loving son, John Lucas married to Judie, Windber; loving daughter, Debbie married to Bob Probert, Alum Bank; grandchildren, Kristi married to Scott Japalucci; and Heather married to Ryan Fatich; great grandchildren, Alayna; Lucas; Alexander and Scarlett; brother, Steven Hook married to Kay, Windber; sister, Nancy Washko, Windber; also by numerous nieces and nephews. Rose was a faithful member of Windber Covenant Brethren Church, Windber. Her family wishes to thank the staff of caregivers at Windber Woods for their outstanding personal care of our mother. Family will receive friends Thursday, September 1st. from 10:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. service at Meek & Dalla Valle Funeral Home, Windber, Rev. Joe Brown, officiating.
