Rev. Thomas Stanton Fleck

Fleck, Rev. Thomas Stanton, Sr., 79, Hertford, North Carolina, passed away September 20, 2020 at home surrounded by his loving family. Born December 13, 1940 in South Fork, Pennsylvania, son of the late David Stanton and Agnes Virginia (Seaman) Fleck. Survived by loving wife, who he married on September 15, 1962, Shirley (Shank) Fleck; children, Brenda Lynn married to Kevin Cartwright; Kimberly Sue married to James Bedsole; and Thomas Stanton Fleck Jr. married to Renea; grandchildren, Kristen married to Trevor Coplea; Brianna Nicole Reid, Justin Bedsole, Channing married to Kyle Milchuck; Dalton Bedsole and Elizabeth married to Daniel Bobko; great grandchildren, Aria Leigh Coplea, Chance Metzler, Carmen Bedsole and Casey Bedsole; sisters, Janet Gordon; and Verna Joan Varner married Ronald. Thomas graduated from Windber High School, he entered the U.S. Navy and retired after 20 years of service from Norfolk Naval Shipyard in Virginia. Thomas was a retired Pastor serving various United Methodist Church's in North Carolina. He was an avid Pittsburgh Steeler fan and he loved his children and grandchildren.  He loved his Heavenly Father more than life and put others before himself. Family will receive friends from 7:00 p.m. until 9:00 p.m. Thursday, September 24, at Meek & Dalla Valle Funeral Home, Windber. Graveside celebration of life service will be held privately at Walker Cemetery, Shanksville, PA, Rev. Joe Brown, officiating, military rites by Somerset Honor Guard.
