Reno C. Gentile

Gentile, Reno C., 91, Windber, went to be with the Lord on May 8, 2022, at Windber Hospice. Born May 11, 1930, in Windber. Son of Paul and Catherine Gentile. Preceded in death by parents, wife Annamarie P. (Romano) and brothers Dominick, Frank, William, and Mario, infant sister Natalie, and sisters Jennie and Nellie. Survived by these children Susan, wife of Robert Dixon, Ebensburg; John, married to the former Renee Wolfhope, Westerly, R.I.; James, Windber; Paul, married to the former Kim Mock, Sarver, Pa.; and David, married to the former Connie Hamula, East Taylor; and grandchildren: Amanda, Daniel, Nicolas, Nathan, Stephanie, and Kaitlyn. Great-granddaughter Kinslee. Also survived by siblings Vera, Tony, Helen, and Paul and numerous nieces and nephews. Reno was a faithful life member of St. Anthony of Padua Catholic Church in Windber, where he volunteered in the kitchen for many years. Retired as a shipping clerk for Bethlehem Steel. Navy veteran, Korean Conflict. Friends are welcome to attend his funeral Mass to be celebrated at 11:00 am Friday at St. Anthony of Padua Catholic Church, Windber, Fr. Rod Soha, pastor.
