Raymond E. Johnson

Johnson, Raymond E., 37, Windber, passed away November 14, 2022. Born Dec. 2, 1984 in Texarkana, TX. Son of Frank and Donna (Reed) Johnson. Preceded in death by father, maternal grandfather Raymond Reed and paternal grandparents Edward and Alice Johnson. Survived by mother Donna and step father Brian Ross , maternal grandmother Carol Reed, and his children Mackenzie and boyfriend Matt Salem, Kimberly, and Nathalee. Brother Frank and girlfriend Steph Benshoff ,sisters Marisa and fiance Tyler Hern and Sarah Ross, step brother Mike and wife Amanda Gindlesperger numerous nieces and nephews, aunts, uncles and cousins. Ray enjoyed the finer things in life. He liked camping, fishing, and hunting with his family and friends. He especially loved finding turtles and bringing them home for his girls. He was always willing to lend a helping hand to anyone in need. Ray had a unique way to bring laughter to any situation and brighten the whole room. He enjoyed working on the rigs and doing steel work with his dad and other family members. Ray's greatest achievement was being a loving father to his three girls. From tucking them into bed so tight, to brushing their hair and painting their nails, Ray made sure his girls knew he loved them and their mom, Sandi. The family will receive friends from 1 pm until time of service at 5 pm, Friday at Meek and Dalla Valle Funeral Home, Windber. Pastor Joe Brown, officiating.
