Raymond E Harclerode

Harclerode, Raymond E., 87, Windber, passed away on June 1, 2022 at Windber Woods Senior Living Center. Born January 9, 1935. Son of the late Andrew C. and Edna E. (Baylor) Harclerode. He was a graduate of Windber Area High School. After high school, he served in the U.S. Army in France. He loved his family, gardening, and woodworking. He is preceded in death by his loving wife of 65 years, Frances; sisters Gladys Kisamore, Virginia Zahorchak, Betty DiBuono, and Ruth McCullough and brother Kenneth Harclerode; also by son-in-law Barry Schmidt. Survived by Children, Karen Schmidt, Richland Township; David Harclerode married to Tina, Windber; Thomas Harclerode married to Pamela, Virginia and Terri Cubeta married to James, Virginia. Grandchildren, Jessica, Andrew, Travis, Jared, Jaymie, Jeanna, Paige and Madeline; great grandchildren, Alyssa, Jason, Cade, Carter, Barrett, Ruby and Gavin; also numerous nieces and nephews. He was a loving father, grandfather, and great grandfather who will be sadly missed. Raymond was a faithful life member of the Scalp Level Covenant Brethren Church. A special thank you to the staff at Windber Woods Senior Living & Rehabilitation Center and Windber Hospice. At the request of Raymond, all services will be private for his family.
