Nancy Gaio Obituary

Gaio, Nancy A., 87, lifelong resident of Windber, passed away January 7, 2021 at Windber Woods. Born October 31, 1933 in Windber, daughter of the late Gregario and Maria (Finale) Zaccagni (Zack). Preceded in death by husband, Edward “Danny” Gaio; brothers, Jim Zack, John Zack, also sisters, Jean Damasiewicz and Erma Mincek; sister in laws, Jane Zack, Mary Zack and Ruth Zack; brother in laws, Louis C. Mincek, John Damasiewicz and Frank Zborovancik. Survived by loving brother, Tony Zack, Windber; sister, Ida Zborovancik, Central City; and numerous loving nieces and nephews. She was a faithful life member of St. Anthony of Padua Catholic Church, Windber, where she served as a housekeeper for many years. Viewing at the funeral home and Funeral mass will be private for her family at St. Anthony of Padua Catholic Church, Windber, Fr. Rod. Committal church cemetery next to her husband Ed. Arrangements entrusted to Meek & Dalla Valle Funeral Home of Windber.
