Lillian Mildred (Watkins) Hironimus

Hironimus, Lillian M., 100, Windber died Dec. 12, 2018 at Windber Woods. Born June 4, 1918 in Scalp Level daughter of the now late Isaac and Laura Mae (Seese) Watkins. Also preceded in death by husband Hugh, grandson Dennis W. Hironimus, granddaughter Kimberly Weise, brothers Forrest, Roland, Clarence, Sherman, and Glenn Watkins, and sisters Odessa Hironimus and Hazel Blough. Survived by son Dennis, married to the former Roma Wolford, Davidsville. Grandmother to Cheree, wife of William Saprow, Pasadena, MD, & grandson-in-law George Weise, Palm Coast, FL. Great grandmother to Jonathan (Kimberly) Weise, Nicole (Alex) Rose,  Brandon, and fiance Autumn, Zachary (Samantha) Null, Caleb Null, & Madeline Saprow.  Also survived by great grandchildren Zachary Null, Jr. & Theo Gray Null. Lillian was the last member of her immediate family. She was employed by WAHS for 23 ½ years, Pres. of LCW for many years. Active member of former Mt Zion Lutheran Church. Active quilt maker for Lutheran World Relief. She served her church family whenever and wherever she could. Lillian's family would like to thank the nurses and caregivers on the 3rd floor for their excellent care of Lillian. Family will receive friends from 4 to 7 p.m. Friday at Meek & Dalla Valle Funeral Home, Inc., Windber and from 12:15 p.m. to time of service at 1:00 p.m. Saturday at Good Shepherd Lutheran Church, Windber. Pastor Ruth Jensen, officiating. Private interment at Horner-Mt. Tabor Cemetery, Boswell.
