Obituary

Fisher, Leroy W., 76, Richland Township formerly of Dale Borough, passed away August 22, 2023 at Windber Hospice. Born October 10, 1946 in Johnstown, son of the late Frank and Henrietta (Jones) Fisher. Preceded in death by loving wife of 43 years, Diane (Stevens) Fisher; numerous brothers and sisters. Survived by loving son, Michael R. Fisher married to Teri, Richland Township; grandchildren, Devin and Abbie Fisher; and by numerous brothers and sisters. He enjoyed spending time with his sister Georgann. Leroy was a proud U.S. Army Veteran, and lifelong Coal Miner. He was an avid Steeler fan, fisherman and most importantly spending time at cookouts with his family. At the request of Leroy, there will be no viewing or service. Cremation arrangements entrusted to Meek & Dalla Valle Funeral Home of Windber. The family would like to thank the caregivers at Windber Hospice for their outstanding care of Leroy.
