Leona M. (Fogle) Yamber

Yamber, Leona M., 86, Windber, passed away Jan. 29, 2020 at Windber Woods. Born Feb. 23, 1933 in Windber. Daughter of Fred and Leona (Garlitz) Fogle. Preceded in death by parents, son George, grandson Jessie and brother Milton. Survived by husband of 62 years George and daughters George Jean  Zimmerman, Maryland, Sandra, wife of Philip Deskevich, Nanty Glo, and Christine, wife of Chaz Knepper, Hollsopple. Grandchildren Yulissa, Michele, Mike, Jr., Gerard and Alex. Great-granddaughter Shelby Kay, sister Francine, wife of Frank Swoikla and also numerous nieces and nephews. Member of Holy Cross Lutheran Church, Johnstown. She enjoyed playing bingo, going to the casino and yard sales. The family will receive friends from 10 am until time of service at 12:00 noon Monday at Meek & Dalla Valle Funeral Home Inc., Windber. Pastor Mark Ruppert, officiating. Entombment Richland Cemetery and Mausoleum.
