Pritt, John Walter “Walt,” 88, Windber, passed away November 3, 2020. Born May 8, 1932 in Windber. Son of Harry B. and Grace (Gordon) Pritt. Preceded in death by parents, wife Sandra, infant daughter Mary Louise, daughter Robin Pritt, son Bryan Pritt, sisters Delores,Marlene and Ellen Pritt, Orbetta Wilt-Lucas, Mildred Parks-Feaser, Belva Karmendy, Phyllis Miller and Carol Richards and brothers George, Willard and Harry Pritt. Survived by these children Walter Pritt and wife Janet, Don Pritt and wife Lisa, Bruce Pritt and Judith, wife of Tom Opdenhoff. Also numerous grandchildren, great-grandchilden, nieces and nephews. Brother to Paul Pritt, Donna Pritt and Nova Oldham. Member Faith Tabernacle Church, Scalp Level. Walt remained true to his beliefs of faith healing and never wavered. He worked for Berwind White Co. from 1950-1951, he was the owner and operator of Pritt Garage from 1970-1987 then opened and operated Pritt Furniture until 2015. Army veteran Korean Conflict. Walt enjoyed going to the races at Jennerstown Speedway. At the request of the deceased services will be private. Arrangements by Meek and Dalla Valle Funeral Home, Windber.
