McCune, John W. "Quincy", 79, Windber, passed away August 19, 2023 at Windber Hospice. Born February 17, 1944 in Windber, son of the late Thomas and Dorothy (Kinsey) McCune. Preceded in death by sister, Gail McIntyre. Survived by loving brother, Thomas J. McCune married to Erenestine, Ogletown; nieces, Kelly McCune and companion, William, Traci married to Leo Feist and Kathleen Powers; nephews, Kevin and Scott McIntyre; and by special friend, Thomas Panetti. John retired after many years from Windber Hospital and was a proud U.S. Army Veteran. Friends are welcome to attend his graveside VFW service to begin at Noon on Thursday, August 24th at Richland Cemetery (everyone please meet at cemetery office at 11:45 a.m.) Arrangements entrusted to Meek & Dalla Valle Funeral Home of Windber. www.meekfuneralhome.com.
