Jean M. (Vicini) Mucciola

Mucciola, Jean M., 92, Windber, passed on into Heaven on January 20th, 2023, in Windber, PA, with her husband by her side. Born May 17, 1930, in Colver, PA to the late, Baldo and Lillian (Zampini) Vicini. Survived by loving husband of 69 years, Robert J. Mucciola; children, Dr. Robert N. married to Margaret, Morgantown, WV; Marian, wife of George Fleegle, Windber; Dr. John, married to Janice, Windber; Susan, wife of Jerry Pavlosky, Davidsville; and Joan, wife of George Napora, Central City. Jean is also survived by her sisters, Betty, widow of Richard Steiner, Crozet, VA, and Linda, widow of Thomas Ball, Canfield OH. She is the grandmother of: Nicole (Gentry) Shannon, Michael (Gabrielle) Mucciola, Marla (Joel) Schiffhauer, Nicholas and Lauren Mucciola, Jared and Jenna Pavlosky, and Mitchel Napora. Jean is blessed with two great-grandsons: Keith Schiffhauer and Luca Mucciola. She graduated from Ebensburg Cambria High School, class of 1948, and then received her registered nursing degree from Windber Hospital School of Nursing in 1951. After raising her family, she continued her career as a private duty nurse.  Jean was a member of St. Anthony of Padua Catholic Church since 1953. Over the years she served in the Choir, and as a member of the Ladies’ Guild. The family will receive friends from 1 pm until time of Funeral Mass at 2 pm, Tuesday at St. Anthony of Padua Catholic Church, Windber.
