Wissinger, Janet R., 85, Windber, passed away July 8, 2020 at Windber Hospice. Born April 19, 1935 in Windber. Daughter of Dean and Allegra (Weaver) Shaffer. Preceded in death by parents, 1^st husband Alexander Codick, 2^nd husband Richard Wissinger, step-daughter Melody Schindel and step-son Christopher Wissinger. Survived by sons Mark Codick and wife Robin (Rummel) and Kevin Codick and wife Beth (Sherbondy). Grandson Jeremy Codick, brothers David Shaffer and wife Patricia, Norman Shaffer and wife Carol, stepson Richard Wissinger, 9 step-grandchildren and many step-great-grandchildren. Also many special friends. Member Rummel Church of the Brethren, Windber and the Red Hat Society. Janet retired from Tableland Services, Somerset as assistant health coordinator. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to Rummel Church of the Brethren. Services will be private at the request of the family.
