James Seback

Seback, James, 74, Johnstown, Passed away Jan. 10, 2023 at home. Born Dec. 20, 1948 in Windber. Son of Michael and Mary Seback. Preceded in death by parents and wife Rosa Mae. Survived by sister Debbie Holsinger, nephews Mark and Evan, niece Susan Zigler, stepsons Bill Sterner, wife Michelle, Shane Sterner wife Rebecca (Becky), niece Christine Reed and nephew Dr. Richard Sciotti. Devoted & faithful parishioner of St. Mary Byzantine Dormition Catholic Church, Windber. Retired sprinkler fitter with over 50+ years in the International Sprinkler Fitters 669 Union.  Enjoyed coin collecting/attending coin shows; hunting; gardening; sightseeing; and leisurely drives through the mountains looking for wildlife. Visitation will be held from 10 am until time of Parastas at 12:00 noon, Saturday at Meek and Dalla Valle Funeral Home, Windber. Fr. Ivan Rusyn, officiating. Committal St. Mary Byzantine Cemetery, Windber. In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to St. Mary Byzantine Dormition Catholic Church, Windber.
