Hoffman, Gertrude F., 98, Windber. Passed away Sept. 25, 2023. Born March 17, 1925 in Johnstown. Daughter of Herbert Volk and Bertha (Eash) Volk-Wainwright. Preceded in death by parents, husband David, daughter Nancy Grush, Sister LaVerne Stevens and brother John Volk. Survived by daughter Pamela, wife of David Koontz, Bedford, grandchildren Ranee Grush, Eric Koontz and Jennifer wife of Gerald Helmick. Great-grandchildren Andrew and Gianna Koontz and Garrett and Wyatt Helmick. Also son-in-law David Grush. Member Good Shepherd Lutheran Church, Windber. The family will receive friends from 10 am until time of service at 12:00 noon Thursday at Meek and Dalla Valle Funeral Home, Windber. Rev. Doug Knupp, officiating. Entombment Richland Cemetery and Mausoleum. In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to Good Shepherd Lutheran Church, 514 Shady Lane, Windber, PA 15963 in memory of Gertrude.
