Thomas, Elizabeth M., 89, Windber, passed away September 16, 2021 at UPMC Somerset. Born December 4, 1931 in Windber, daughter of the late Harry and Ada (Logue) Dayton. Preceded in death by husband, Eugene S. Thomas; brothers, Robert, Paul, Joe, Harry Jr., and George; sister, Doris Clark; son in law, Dennis Shaffer; great grandson, Hunter Penrod; grandson in law, Jeff Conjelko. Survived by loving son, Eugene J. Thomas and girlfriend Lorie Walylko; loving daughters, Linda Shaffer; and Bonnie married to Richard Penrod, all of Windber; grandchildren, Brenda Conjelko, Windber; Michael Shaffer married to Jessica, Johnstown; Benjamin Penrod married to Rebecca; Heather Bloom married to Jaime; and Jessica King and boyfriend Brad Jerley, all of Windber; great grandchildren, Dyllan Panetti, Elijah Conjelko, Kaden Korenoski, Noah Shaffer, Piper Bloom, Isabella Bloom, Cole Sesack, Trevor Sesack, Kaitlyn Polanco, Amelia Polanco and Joshua Bunting. Elizabeth was a wonderful homemaker, who enjoyed keeping a clean house, sharing food with family and friends, Sunday's were always at Mom's. She attended services at Windber Church of the Brethren. Family will receive friends from 3 to 7 p.m. Sunday, September 19th at Meek & Dalla Valle Funeral Home, Windber.
