Dorothy J. Yuhas

Yuhas, Dorothy J., 90, Windber, passed away June 17, 2020 at her daughter's home surrounded by loving family. Born December 6, 1929 in Windber, daughter of the late Anna (Matusko) and Michael Klimek. Preceded in death by sister, Roberta Gianios; and son in law, Mike Baeder. Survived by husband of 71 years, Stephen "Shaz" Yuhas, Windber; daughter's Sharon Kushner (John) of Chambersburg; and Cheryl Izing (Steve) of Windber; son, Stephen Yuhas, at home; grandma to, Jason Kushner (Faith Funair), Adam Kushner (Kerry Plumb), Mike and Jessica Baeder; great grandma to, Vanessa and Connor Kushner; beloved grand pets, Marcus and Izzy. Graduate of Windber High School class of 1948. Dorothy was employed by Goldstein and Levin Company; Bricker's store, the Abruzzi, and retired from Windber High School Cafeteria. Member of St. Anthony of Padua Catholic Church, Windber. Family will receive friends from 2 to 8 p.m. Sunday, June 21st, at Meek & Dalla Valle Funeral Home, Windber, where vigil for the deceased will be held. Funeral mass will be celebrated at 11:00 a.m. Monday, June 22nd, at St. Anthony of Padua Catholic Church, Windber, Fr. Rod Soha. Committal church cemetery.
