Delphine A. Suckenik

Suckenik, Mrs. Delphine A., 81, from Windber went to be with her Lord on May 5, 2018 surrounded by family.  Born March 19, 1937 in Mt. Pleasant, PA. Preceded in death by parents Stephen and Lillian Markiewicz, husband Richard, who passed away Sept. 9, 2017, in-laws Jacob and Viola Suckenik, brother Walter Markiewicz and sister-in-law Joanne Korzen.  Survived by the following children Anita Barkley of Johnstown, Tim (Joyce Bovino) of Johnstown, Joni Hoffman (Jay) of Central City, Mary Ann Null (Harold) of Windber, Tracy Greenwell (Kevin) of Huntingtown, MD and Carolyn (Mimi) Bidelman (Todd) of Manheim, PA, grandchildren Lindsay Hoffman and fiancé Michael Seitz, Stephen (Kate Beach) Suckenik, Michael Suckenik and fiancé Laura Cabell, Ondrea Null, Helena and Jacob Bidelman, Koy, Lillian and Gy Greenwell and great-grandchilden Shawn and Elizabeth Suckenik.  Also survived by brother Stanley and wife Eleanor, brother-in-law Robert Korzen and numerous nieces, nephews and cousins. Del retired from Rizzo’s restaurant, Windber. She loved her family and enjoyed her puzzles, bingo, and wrestling. She was a member of St. Elizabeth Ann Seton Catholic Church, Windber. The Family will receive friends from 2 to 8 pm Thursday at Meek & Dalla Valle Funeral Home Inc., Windber. Funeral Mass will be celebrated at 11 am Friday at St. Elizabeth Ann Seton Catholic Church, Windber. Fr. Larry, celebrant. Committal All Faiths Chapel and Mausoleum, Windber.
