Edmison, Connie J., 74, Lower Burrell, formerly of Fairfax, VA, passed away March 14, 2019. Born October 21, 1944 in Paint Township, Somerset County. Daughter of Curtis and Mabel (Shaffer) Berkey. Preceded in death by parents, son Brian, brother Milford Berkey and an infant brother. Survived by daughter Karen wife of Nicholas Czapla, Haymarket, VA and grandson Mathew and granddaughter Maggie. Sister to Joyce Berkey, Central City, Gerald (Brenda) Berkey, Santee, SC, Norma wife of Robert Tremain, Carlisle, MA, Imogene widow of Richard Willman, Carbondale, IL, Ronald (Rhonda) Berkey, Windber, Rodger (Patricia) Berkey, Windber, Laura wife of Richard Cameron, Johnstown, Rodney (Nancy) Berkey, Davidsville and Sandra Law, New Kensington, PA. Sister-in-law to Shirley wife of Milford Berkey and also survived by numerous nieces and nephews. Connie was a 1963 graduate of Conemaugh Township and retired from the Fairfax County Police Department after 20 years as an administrative assistant. The family will receive friends from 5 to 8 pm Monday at Meek and Dalla Valle Funeral Home Inc., Windber, where funeral will be held at 11 am Tuesday. Pastor Crissman officiating.
