Charlotte M. Callihan

Callihan, Charlotte, M., 82, Windber, joined her beloved husband in heaven on Feb. 9, 2023. Born Feb. 2, 1941 in Walnut Grove. Daughter of Harry and Margaret (Griffith) Wissinger. Preceded in death by parents, husband of 50 years, Marvin Eugene “Gene,” Siblings Bruce Wissinger, Esther Irons and Ray Wissinger, and several special nieces and nephews. Survived by these children Deb (Callihan) Slagle, Mark, Valerie (Callihan) Lonsinger, son in law Bruce Lonsinger and grandsons Corey and Christopher. Also survived by special nieces and nephews as well as several dear friends.  Member of Calvary United Methodist Church, Windber, where she spent time volunteering with United Churches. She also volunteered many years with the Windber Area HS Band Boosters.  The family will receive friends from 3 to 7 pm Monday at Meek and Dalla Valle Funeral Home where funeral will be held at 11 am Tuesday. Pastor Erica Wellner, officiating. Luncheon will follow service at Windber American Legion. Private interment Berkey Cemetery. Memorial contributions may be made to Windber Woods, 277 Hoffman Ave., Windber PA 15963 in memory of Charlotte.
