TEDJESKE – Mrs. Catherine, 80, Windber, passed away peacefully Nov. 2, 2022 at Arbutus Park. Born Sep. 29, 1942 in Windber, daughter of the late Anthony “Bud” and Rose (DiLoreto) DiPaola. She was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Charles. Also preceded in death by brother-in-law Robert Tedjeske and sister-in-law Rita Westrick. She is survived by her children, Charles (Mary Ann), Summerhill; Loretta, with whom she resided, Windber; Ann (Daniel) Neri, Windber; and Aaron (Becky), Easton. She is also survived by grandchildren, Krista (Josh) Hershberger; Eric Tedjeske; Brea (Ben) Deutsch; Trevor, Jenna, and Leah Neri; and great-grandchildren Sadie and Avery Hershberger. Sister of Anthony (Joan) DiPaola; Alfred DiPaola (Melissa Bosley); and Dennis (Kathleen) DiPaola, all of Windber. Also survived by brothers-in-law Donald, William (Patricia), and James (Dee) Tedjeske, and Thomas (Cynthia) Westrick. She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews. As a lifelong member of St. Anthony of Padua Catholic Church, she was dedicated to her faith as a catechism teacher, choir member, Cursillo prayer organizer, and prayer circle coordinator. Catherine devoted her career to the care of expectant mothers and newborn babies as a registered nurse at Windber Hospital. She also enjoyed quilting in the company of her close friends. Catherine especially loved the joys of her life, her children and grandchildren. Family will receive friends from 2 to 6 p.m. Sunday at Meek & Dalla Valle Funeral Home, Windber, where vigil for the deceased will be held. Funeral Mass will be celebrated at 11 a.m. Monday at St. Anthony of Padua Catholic Church, Windber. Fr. Rod Soha, Pastor.
