HOFFMAN, Betty J., 93, of Richland Twp, went home to her Lord October 7, 2021 fromMemorial Medical Center. "THERE ARE NO QUARANTINES IN HEAVEN, HALLELUJAH!" Betty was born July 27, 1928, in Scalp Level, PA. She was the daughter ofLewis and Nellie (Jones) Weaver. She was preceded in death by her parents, husband Gerald Hoffman, daughter Rev Joy Hoffman, and great-grandson, Sean Grant and also her five siblings Dorothy, Gladys, Robert, Donald, and Gary. Betty is survived by daughters, Holly Lees (Melvin), of Salix, and Brenda Ciner (David) of Johnstown, and grandchildren, Melanie, Matt, Vanessa, Courtney, Stephanie, and Adam. She is also survived by nine great-grandchildren, two great-great-grandchildren,nieces, nephews, cousins, and sister-in-law, Ann Hoffman. Betty was a member of Emmanuel Church. She worked alongside her husband Gerald to help him achieve his dream of Hoffman Nursery. Betty was Gerald's "right hand man" in the nursery business, from general laboring to dedicated, handwritten record-keeping. She always enjoyed good food, especially sweets! In retirement, she walked everywhere she wished to go. Betty’s family is grateful for many individual caregivers who became like family and for the support ofWindber Hospice, St. Jude’s Haven, Conemaugh Home Health, Harmony House Manor, and Seventh Floor Rose. Friends will be received 10 to 11am, October 12, with a celebration of life to follow at Meek & DallaValle Funeral Home, Windber, Pastor Rob Wolf, officiating.
