Ashtabula- Agnes Rose Cook, 92, passed away peacefully on Friday, February 12, 2021 at the Cleveland Clinic.
She was born on January 3, 1929 in Johnstown, Pennsylvania the daughter of Thomas and Mary (Kavalecz) Toth. Agnes graduated from the Windber High School Class of 1947. She was employed as a cashier at Alber’s before marrying the love of her life, Harold E. Cook on September 6, 1948 and would start a wonderful family. Agnes was a member of Our Lady of Peace Parrish. She enjoyed collecting Fenton Glass, traveling and antiques.
She is survived by her children, Harold (Cindy) Cook, David (Charlene) Cook and Roger (Tammy) Cook; grandchildren, David, Tracy, Laura, Brian, Amy, Adam and Ryan; great-grandchildren, Phoebe, Abigail, Gabrielle, Mason, Allie, and Rhett; and her brother, George.
She was preceded in death by her parents; beloved husband, Harold Cook in 2009; and her siblings, Pearl, Frank, Marishka, Joseph, Helen, Mary, Frank, Steveand Irene.
Funeral services will be held Thursday, February 18, 2021 at 11:00 at Meek & Dalla Valle Funeral Home, 1312 Graham Ave., Windber, PA 15963, where friends and family will be received on Thursday from 10AM until time of services at 11AM. Burial will follow at St. Mary’s Roman Catholic Cemetery.
