Virginia "Ginny" A. (Varner) McCreary

Virginia A.  "Ginny" McCreary, 75, Windber died July 5, 2019 at home. Born Feb. 9, 1944 in Salix daughter of the now late Albertus L. and Betty (Lees) Varner. Also preceded in death by sister Sharon Varner. Survived by husband Robert, daughter Gloria (Matt Boyer) and son Robert E., (Linda Scanlan), both of Windber. Sister of Ida (Harry) Kostyk, NJ.  Ginny was a wonderful wife, mother, and homemaker. She loved her "furry grandkids". Former employee of former Frosty Corner.  Friends received from 5 to 8 p.m. Monday at the funeral home where service will be held at 11:00 a.m. Tuesday.  The Rev. Earl Crissman will officiate.  Memorial contributions may be made either to her family or Somerset County Humane Society.
