Robert J. Gordon

Gordon, Robert J., "Jim", 74, Windber, passed away February 12, 2018 at Memorial Medical Center. Born September 23, 1943 in Johnstown, son of the late Harvey Glenn and Mary Ellen (Morris)Gordon. Preceded in death by five brothers and four sisters. Survived by loving wife, Mary Ann (Zelenok) Gordon, Windber; children, Robert Jim Gordon Jr. married to Lindsey, Maryland; Renee L. Geibig married to Thomas, and Robin Stantz, all of Johnstown; grandchildren, Jessica, Shane, Brandon, Gavin, and Lachlan; Great Grandchildren, Karis, Naya and Camryn; also by brother, David; and sisters, Alice and Hope; and numerous nieces and nephews. Jim retired from the rolling mill at Bethlehem Steel Corp., member of American Legion post # 0013 and member of Belmont United Methodist Church. Jim was an avid hunter and fisherman who loved spending time with his family, especially his grandchildren and great grandchildren. He loved a good western, even the bad ones, and will be sadly missed by Zippo and Jalepeno, his two blonde doggies.  Family will receive friends from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Friday at Meek & Dalla Valle Funeral Home Inc. Windber, where funeral service will be held 11:00 a.m. Saturday at the funeral home, with Rev. Keith Dunn, officiating. Interment to follow at Richland Cemetery.
