Hildebrand, Phyllis Marie, 93, Windber, God opened His gates to accept a new angel so our mother could be reunited with her husband Cliff. Phyllis went to heaven on April 6, 2019 surrounded by her loving family at Windber Hospital. Born March 26, 1926 in Scalp Level, the daughter of John and Elsie (Miller) Brumbaugh. Preceded in death by parents; husband, Clifford; grandson, J. Edward Blackburn III. Also preceded in death by brothers: Harry, Don, and John and infant brothers Glenn and Billy Brumbaugh; and sisters Lois Gaston, Twila Lehman, and Shirley Singer. Survived by loving daughters: Donna, wife of James Zemcik, Colorado; Judy, wife of Ed Blackburn; Nancy, wife of Harry Gula; Sally, wife of Brett Feather, all of Windber. She will be sadly missed by her grandchildren: Michael (Jamie), Brad, and Erika Zemcik; Leah (Ed Ledwich) and Weston (Chelsie) Blackburn; Michelle (David Wargo); Jessie (Frank Tallyen); Andy (Kristina) Gula; Jenelle (Leighton Barnes) and Adam Feather. Loving great-grandmother to Katelyn, Josh, Tyler, Mark, Levi, Emilee, Clara, Emma, and Julia. Also survived by sister Alma Ling; sister in-laws Evelyn Brumbaugh and Ruth Zurenda; and brother in-law Alan Lehman. She enjoyed bowling, sewing, playing pinochle, picnics, and spending time with family and friends. Phyllis was a lifelong member of Scalp Level Trinity United Methodist Church and was the best mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother anyone could have been blessed with.
