Matthew B. Thacker., 22, Windber, (Scalp Level) died accidentally March. 30, 2018 in Scalp Level. He was born  on June 22, 1995 in Windber son of Wendy (Thacker) Custer. Also preceded in death by paternal and maternal grandparents, uncle David Thacker, aunt Lori Kinstele, cousin Tyler Thacker, great uncles John Thacker and Robert Thacker. Survived by mother Wendy Custer, brother Brady, Windber, step-father Bradley Custer, Central City, and cousin Alexa Thacker, Somerset and numerous other cousins. Aunts Marilyn Thacker, GA, Starla Oates, TN, Mary Thacker, OH and Jane Barbour, TX and uncle Merle Green, Johnstown. Also extended step-family, relatives and friends. He was employee at Windber McDonald’s. He loved his dog Oscar, music, electronic gadgets, traveling and liked to cook. Avid bicycle rider. The family will receive friends from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 pm Wednesday at Meek & Dalla Valle Funeral Home, Inc., Windber, where funeral will be held at 11:00 am Thursday. Interment Berkey Cemetery, Windber. In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to his mother Wendy in memory of her son and to assist with expenses.
