Bubenko, Mrs. Mary E., 94, Windber, passed away Feb. 28, 2018 at the Atrium, Johnstown. Born May 20, 1923 in Windber. Daughter of Stephen and Janete (Kapusci) Geiger. Preceded in death by parents, husband Alex J., and 9 brothers and sisters. Survived by son James S. and wife Barbara, Windber. Grandchildren Matthew and wife Karen, Stephanie, wife of Tom Negrey, Rebecca, wife of Dan Meeder, Joseph and wife Jennifer. Great-grandchildren Tiffany, Madison, Ashley, Nathan and Kora. Great-great grandchildren Brantley and Bryson. Brother Thomas Geiger, Windber and sister Anna Mae Polasko, Parma, OH and also numerous nieces and nephews. Formerly employed by Shaffer’s Drug Store, Windber. Special thanks to the staff at the Atrium and Windber Hospice. Services will be private at the request of the deceased.
