Lowell D. Berkebile

Berkebile, Lowell D., 67, Windber, went to his heavenly reward on Jan. 17, 2019. Born Nov. 28, 1951 in Johnstown. Son of Robert L. and LaVerne E. (Faust) Berkebile. Preceded in death by parents and infant daughter Sarah Beth. Survived by loving wife of 43 years Marcia J. (Lensie), son Justin L. and wife Jenna (Leverknight), Windber and siblings Lerley C. Jack and Lionel R. Berkebile and his wife Mary Lou (Snyder). Also numerous nieces, nephews, great-nieces and great-nephews. Member Rummel Church of the Brethren, Windber. 28 year employee of Lockheed Martin Aeroparts. Formerly employed by Basic Engineers, Penn Machine and Smith Machine Shop. Avid truck and car collector. The family will receive friends from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 pm Friday at Meek & Dalla Valle Funeral Home Inc., Windber, where deacon service will be held at 7:45 pm. Funeral service at 11 am Saturday at Rummel Church of the Brethren, Windber. Pastor Ruby Mader, officiating. In lieu of flowers contributions may be made to Windber Hospice in memory of Lowell.
