Louis Farkas Obituary

Farkas, Louis E., 71, Johnstown, formerly of Windber, died Mar. 10, 2019. Born Oct. 30, 1947 in Windber. Son of Louis and Edith (Basko) Farkas. Preceded in death by parents and sister Carol Schirato. Survived by son Eric Farkas and wife Janice, Washington, PA and brother Andrew Farkas and wife Kristine, Windber. Also numerous nieces and nephews. Navy Veteran, Vietnam. Louis was an avid pilot and enjoyed building planes. He was a member of the Johnstown RC club. Visitation will be held from 5 to 8 pm Thursday at Meek & Dalla Valle Funeral Home Inc., Windber.
