Lillian May (Jenkinson) Probert

Probert, Lillian M., 89 Salix died peacefully May 13, 2018 at the home of her daughter. Born Feb. 26, 1929 in Rossiter daughter of the now late James and Edith (Emeigh) Jenkinson. Also preceded in death by husband Robert, to whom she was happily married for 68 years, brothers Melvin, Russel, Albert, and Elgene, and in-laws James & Esther Probert. Loving mother to Glenda (Ken) Dibert, Salix, Deborah (David) Gage, Sidman, Patty Probert, Johnstown, & Robert, Jr. (Debbie Lucas), Alum Bank. Sister to Lois Burkhart. She was “Mom” to nine grandchildren: Jennifer, Amy, Kristie, Frank, David, Melissa, Jaime, Heather, & Christie; great grandmother to 14 & great, great grandmother to one. Mom was a devoted wife, mother and grandmother. She was an excellent cook & baker. As a seamstress and knitter she created many special things for her family. Mom was a quiet, sweet woman where her greatest pleasure was to care for her husband and children. Our family would like to thank all members of Conemaugh Regional Hospice for their excellent, compassionate care of Mom and their support and encouragement to us as we cared for our parents.
