Joseph M Loffredo, Jr.

Loffredo, Joseph M., Jr., 56, Windber, passed away Jan. 17, 2019. Born July 10, 1962 in Windber. Son of Joseph, Sr. and Betty (Cicmansky) Loffredo. Preceded in death by father and sister Theresa Ann. Survived by mother, daughters Kaelyn and Leeann Loffredo and Krysta, wife of James Streepy. Brothers Louis and Vincent Loffredo, and his wife Betsy. Also loving niece Natalie and husband Josh, nephews Matthew and Eric, and his wife Raelle, aunts Millie Muscatello and Pauline Cicmansky and many cousins. Joey loved sports. When he was ten he was all-star pitcher for Windber Little League. He played football for Windber Area High School. In his senior year he was Lions Club defensive player of the year, for which he received a trophy. He was also on the track team where he threw shot put. He attended St. Francis University, where he played football for one season. He enjoyed watching the Steelers. Joey was formerly employed as a manager at Ture Value Hardware, Richland for 10 years. He then went on to work for Home Depot for 19 years. He was there when it first opened and was associate supervisor for many departments. He enjoyed fishing, holidays with the family and vacations. He also had many friends in the area that loved him. The family will receive friends from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 pm Monday at Meek & Dalla Valle Funeral Home Inc., Windber. Funeral Mass will be celebrated at 10:30 am Tuesday at St. Anthony of Padua Catholic Church, Windber. Fr. Rod Soha, TOR, pastor. Committal St. Anthony’s Cemetery, Windber.
