Romanchock, John, Jr., 90, Elton Heights died June 7, 2019 at Arbutus Manor and Retirement Center. Born Nov. 1, 1928 in Cairnbrook son of the late John and Catherine (Polinski) Romanchock. Also preceded in death by first wife former Ellen Zino, brothers Charles & Theodore, and sister Dorothy Dooley. Survived by 2nd wife former Genevieve “Choochie” (Tantorno) Baldwin-Romanchock; children: Jack (Deborah) Romanchock, Camus, WA, Charles (Marilyn) Romanchock, Everett, Michele (Jim) Ross, Lancaster, Kathleen (Dan) Krestar, Sidman, & Mark (Ursula Edwards), Houston. Also survived by step-son Harry (Cindy) Baldwin, Windber, 10 grandchildren, nine great grandchildren, two step-grandchildren, eight step-great grandchildren, and two step-great, great grandchildren. Brother of Thomas Romanchock, Duncansville, & James (Barbara) Romanchock, Rockville, MD. Brother-in-law to Frances Romanchock, Grand Island, NY., and numerous nieces and nephews. John was a retired industrial arts teacher at Forest Hills High School, Navy veteran of WW II and Korean War, avid hunter, fisherman, and storyteller. Member of St. Michael American Legion and former member of Adams Twp. Lions Club. Member of St. Anthony of Padua Catholic Church, Windber where funeral Mass will be celebrated at 1:30 p.m. Tuesday.
