Geiger, Jeffrey T., 59, Windber, passed away Mar. 2, 2018 at home. Born Sept. 5, 1958 in Windber. Son of Thomas L. and Helen (Dashko) Geiger. Preceded in death by mother and brother Thomas. Survived by father, daughters Sarah and Emily Geiger, significant other Bonnie J. Jacob, sister Cindy L., wife of Richard Gjurich, Douglassville, PA, and brother John P. Geiger and wife Kathy, Lewisetta, VA and also numerous nieces and nephews. Navy veteran. Member of the Windber American Legion Post 137 and Slovak Club. Avid pool player. The family will receive friends from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 pm Sunday at Meek & Dalla Valle Funeral Home Inc., Windber, where a brief service will be at 11 am Monday. Military Rites by Windber VFW Post 4795 will be at the All Faiths Chapel and Mausoleum, Windber. In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to America Cancer Society in memory of Jeff. www.meekfuneralhome.com.
