Lester, Jacob., Jr., 89, formerly of Elton & Windber died June 9, 2017 at Memorial Medical Center. Born July 5, 1927 in Ehrenfeld son of the late Jacob, Sr., and Dora E. (Hull) Lester.  Also preceded in death by wife former Ona B. Berkebile, in 2006, brothers Ronald, and Eugene and grandson Charles R. Davis, III. Survived by son the Rev. Denton Lester, and wife former Cathie Dierling, Rockwood, and daughter L. Elaine, wife of John Price, Windber. Loving grandfather to Kelly, Candee, Amy, Denton, Jr., Holly, Tammy, and John, III. Also survived by 16 great grandchildren. Brother of Donald and wife Betty, South Fork, & Gary and wife Donna, Tracy’s Landing, MD. Brother-in-law to Sophie Lester, York. Also survived by numerous nieces and nephews. Jake was a veteran of Army AF during WW II, and a 38 year employee of Bethlehem Steel Corp. Member of Scalp Level Trinity UMC, Windber. The family will receive friends from 5 to 8 p.m. Sunday at Meek & Dalla Valle Funeral Home, Inc., Windber where service will be held at 11:00 a.m. Monday. Pastor Jim Sands, officiating. Interment, with military rite by Windber VFW ritual team at Mt.
