George Bryan Bush, 82, Windber passed away Oct. 19, 2018 surrounded by family in Carlisle. He was Born Aug. 7, 1936 in Fulton County son of the late Ralph and Edna (Mellott) Bush. Also preceded in death by wife former Mary Jane Weaver, and son Gary. Survived by sons George V. Bush, and wife Kimberly, Homer City, Greg Bush, Upper Marlboro, MD, and Geoff, and wife Holly, Carlisle; six beloved grandchildren Graceann, Clark, Veronica, Genna, Gabriella, and Gracie Bush. Brother of Betty Jean (Donald) McPherson, and Helen (Kenneth) Nale, both of Helmetta, NJ. 1954 graduate of Johnstown High School. Proudly served in the 25th Signal Battalion of the United States Army from 1959 to 1966. Employed for 37 years at Bethlehem Steel Corp. After retiring he worked at Bob Feather Homes for 8 years. George loved nothing more than to share stories with family and friends. He especially loved spending time outdoors, hunting, and just sitting on the porch of his cabin in Fulton County. The family welcomes friends from 9 a.m. until time of service at 11:00 a.m. Tuesday at Meek & Dalla Valle Funeral Home, Inc., Windber. Rev. Nathan Crissman will officiate. Interment at Berkey Cemetery with military graveside rite by Windber VFW Ritual Team. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Windber Hospice, 600 Somerset Ave., Windber, PA 15963 in George's memory.
