Ethel V. (Foust) Figard

Figard,  Mrs. Ethel V., age 93, of Windber died June 25, 2018 at Windber Woods. Born April 19, 1925 in Windber daughter of the late Joseph and  Freda (Frye) Foust. Also preceded in death by husband Charles Figard Sr., brother George Foust and sister Alice Cook.

Survived by sons Charles, Jr., married to the former Kathleen Earl, & Gary, both of Windber. Grandmother to Jonathan Figard, and companion Janet Schopp, Pittsburgh. Sister of Richard “Dick” Foust, Chambersburg, Edward (Nancy) Foust, Hagerstown, Robert (Lil) Foust, Greencastle, LaRue (Howard) Price, Johnstown, Shirley Deyarmin, & Frances (Ray) Harclerode , both of Windber, & Mary (John) Manges, Johnstown. Also survived by numerous nieces and nephews. Former cafeteria worker at WASH. Member of Scalp Level Church of the Brethren. Ethel’s hobbies included cooking and crocheting. The family will receive friends from 5 to 8 p.m. Friday at Meek & Dalla Valle Funeral Home, Inc., Windber where Scripture and Prayer service will be held at 7:45 by the deacons of Scalp Level Church of the Brethren.
