Davin Christopher Owens

Davin Christopher Owens, age 27, Johnstown died August 25, 2018 at home.  He was born on April 27, 1991 in Johnstown son of Andre Nash and Dawn Owens. He was preceded in death by his paternal grandfather Samuel Earl Nash, maternal step-grandfather Steven Ecker, and aunt Marjie Owens, and Kayona Nash. . He is survived by his parents of Johnstown, brother Darvell Gibson, married to the former Nicole Merling, Pittsburgh, and step-brother Akil Hardrick, TN. He is also survived by his maternal grandmother former Judy (Keefer) Ecker, Lehigh Acres, FL, maternal grandfather James (Joanne) Owens Lehigh Acres, aunt Loretta Nolan, Lehigh Acres, and paternal grandmother Pamela Nash, Johnstown, and great grandmother Mrs Julia Nash, Johnstown. Also survived by siblings Karielle Furfari, Johnstown, Andre Nash, Jr., Johnstown, Tierzah Nash, Johnstown. Davin was the nephew to Wendy Owens, Tampa, James Scott Owens, Lehigh Acres,  & Jon and (Jacqueline Piccolo) Walker, Pittsburgh, Andrea Nash, Debbie Nash, Brian Nash, all of Johnstown, and Mark Nash, Derek Nash, Maryland, Dale Nash, Kansas, & Jerome Nash, Maryland. Davin is also survived by a host of very much loved cousins, nieces, and nephews. A special mention to fictive kinship Ms. Donna Herndon and Darron Gibson as well as Davin's beloved Westmont friends and community who were like family to him.

The family will receive friends from 12 to 2 and from 4 to 6 p.m Saturday Septmber 1, 2018 at the Meek & Dalla Valle Funeral Home, Inc.,  1312 Graham Ave., Windber where service will be held at 6:00 p.m.  The Rev.. Valerie Conrad-Dembinsky will officiate.
