Thomas, Barbara A., 78, Harrisburg, formerly of Windber died May 19, 2019 at UPMC Pinnacle Hospital, Harrisburg. Born Apr. 2, 1941in Cairnbrook daughter of the now late Francis and Kathryn (Noll) Thomas. Sister to Francis, married to former Carolyn Brown, Pittsburgh, and LaRue, wife of Matthew Patti, Johnstown. Aunt to Deborah, wife of Gary Morgan, Gibsonia, and Sarah, wife of Michael Fantuzzo, Lower Burrell, PA. Great aunt to Daniel and Kevin Morgan, and Jordan and Zachary Fantuzzo. Retired from Capitol BC/BS. Avid Harrisburg Senators, Pittsburgh Pirates and Steelers, and PSU Lions fan. Secretary of Senator’s Fan Club. The family would like to thank Barb’s Harrisburg family for the care, love and support given to her. Friends received from 4 to 8 p.m. Monday at Meek & Dalla Valle Funeral Home, Inc., Windber where service will be held at 11:00 am Tuesday. The Rev. Valerie Conrad-Dembinsky will officiate. Burial Richland Cemetery, Johnstown. Contributions, in lieu of flowers, to the American Cancer Society would be appreciated.
