St. Anthony of Padua Church, Windber where she was a Eucharistic Minister. Known for her sweet smile and sunny disposition, Anne was a devoted wife and mother and a friend to many. She was very engaged in volunteering for the schools her
children attended and the clubs they joined, as well as for other charitable organizations. She enjoyed cooking and baking and teaching others to make family favorite Italian and Hungarian foods. In her younger years, she regularly visited the elderly
and housebound in town to take them treats and spend time talking with them. A cheerleader and an A student in high school, Anne dreamed of going to college and becoming a writer, but financial circumstances precluded that. Instead, she went to
work for Sears Roebuck in the shoe department. During World War II, she traveled to Detroit with her infant son to work as a Riveter in one of the factories making materials for the war while her husband served in the Army. After the war, Anne devoted
herself to being a full time wife and mother. Family will receive friends from 1 to 4 p.m. and 6 to 8 p.m. Sunday at Meek & Dalla Valle Funeral Home, Windber. Funeral Mass will be celebrated at 11 a.m. Monday at St. Anthony of Padua Catholic Church,
