Amelia N. Welch

Welch, Mrs. Amelia N., 93, Central City, passed away Dec. 18, 2017 at Meadowview Nursing Care Center, Berlin. Born Aug. 3, 1924 in Coupon, PA. Daughter of John and Eleanor Chmiel. Preceded in death by parents, husband Willis E., 5 sisters and 3 brothers. Survived by Ron and wife Sherry, Salisbury, PA, Bud and wife Sara, Fishertown, and Terry and companion Kathy, Central City. Numerous grandchildren, great-grandchildren and 1 great great-grandson. Also brother Ted Chmiel, NJ, and numerous nieces and nephews. A memorial service will be held on Sunday, Dec. 24 at 4:00 pm at Kingdom Hall of Jehovah’s Witness, Joseph St., Windber. William Knecht, officiating. www.meekfuneralhome.com.
