Albert Finella

Finella, Albert, 93, Windber, passed away January 12, 2020. Born August 1, 1926 in Scalp Level, PA, son of the late Pasquale and Josephine Britz. Preceded in death by wife, Viola (Pierre) Finella; siblings, Helen Minitti, Dominic Britz, Pat Britz, Joe Britz, Ida Costanzo, Ester Svatako and Tillie Welby. Survived by loving sons, James Finella married to Sharon (Lenusky), Irwin; and Pierre Finella, Windber; grandchildren, Melissa Finella and Fiance' Dru Borkovich, Jeannette; Jenna Stokes married to Mike, Scottdale; great grandson, Logan Borkovich, sister in law, Millie Britz; brother in law, Tom Welby and many numerous nieces and nephews. Albert was an avid Pitt, Steeler and Pirates fan, enjoyed going on bus trips to gamble at casino's, prayed daily and was a life member of St. Anthony Catholic Church, Windber. Family will receive friends from 2 to 8 p.m. Wednesday, January 15, at MEEK & DALLA VALLE FUNERAL HOME, 1312 Graham Ave. Windber, vigil service will be held. Funeral mass will be celebrated 10:00 a.m. Thursday, January 16, at St. Anthony Catholic Church, Windber, Fr. Rod Soha, TOR, pastor . Committal with military rites by Windber VFW post 4795 ritual team at St. Anthony Cemetery, Windber.
