William A. Tatar

Tatar, William A., 76, Windber, passed away August 13, 2021 at Memorial Medical Center. Born June 19, 1945 in Windber, son of the late Joseph and Dorothy (Cleaver) Tatar. Survived by loving wife of 41 years, Jo Ann Tatar, Windber; sons, William Tatar, Texas; Matthew Tatar, New York; and Jason Tatar married to Mary Ann, Windber; grandchildren, Brenden Tatar, Luke Byers, Daulton Byers, Travis Byers, Ashley Tatar, Alex Tatar, Joseph Tatar and Ashley Clark; great grandchildren, Maggie Tatar, Adriana Sichko, Jamie Clark and Lucy Clark; also by sister, Kathy married to Cornel Butuceanu, Florida. William retired from Blackburn-Russell Wholesale and formerly employed by Pepsi, Johnstown. He loved his family, enjoyed hunting and fishing. He was a U.S. Army Veteran, former member of Dunlo and Windber American Legions. A catholic by faith, he attended mass at St. Elizabeth Ann Seton Catholic Church, Windber.
