Paula Denise Cominsky

Cominsky, Paula "Denise", 47, Windber, passed away August 27, 2021 at home surrounded by her loving family. Born November 23, 1973 in Tecumseh, Oklahoma. Preceded in death by mother, Paula (Warden) Moody. Survived by loving husband of 23 years, Joe Cominsky, Windber; father, Ray Moody, Oklahoma; son, Joey Cominsky; daughters, Makaela and Amanda Cominsky, all of Windber; brother, Randy Moody; sisters, Amy married to Dusty Lynch; and Eulalia married to Josh Byars, all of Oklahoma. Denise was a registered nurse serving Windber home health and other home health agencies. She was a U.S. Army Veteran, a devout Catholic, faithful member of SS. Cyril & Methodius Catholic Church, Windber. Denise was a loving wife and mother and lived selflessly always caring for others. Family will receive friends for her celebration of life from 6:00 to 9:00 p.m. Wednesday, September 1st at The Windber Hotel, 502 15th. St. Windber, PA 15963. Funeral mass will be celebrated 10:00 a.m. Thursday, September 2nd at SS. Cyril & Methodius Catholic Church, Windber, Fr. Rod. Committal with military honors by Windber VFW at All Faith's Chapel & Mausoleum, burial to follow at SS. Cyril & Methodius Catholic Cemetery, Windber. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be directed to a charity or organization of your choice in memory of Denise.
